Star lightweight Ryan Garcia was present at Barclays Center to witness Rolando Romero vs Gervonta Davis on May 28. After Davis’ sensational win over ‘Rolly’ via TKO in round 6 to retain the WBA (Regular) lightweight championship, ‘KingRy’ made a big claim.

While discussing Davis’ spectacular victory over Rolando Romero, Garcia praised his rival ‘Tank’.

He said, “You can’t knock him, he won. ‘Tank’ set him up and caught him with that coming looping left as he came it was a great time shot. I’m gonna give him that it was a good shot. I’m never a hater. He did his thing honestly. He did his thing. Let’s go see if you can knock me down.”

After delivering a winning shot, Davis had called out Garcia in the stadium.

Taking that on a serious note, ‘The Flash’ said, “Tank knows what’s the deal he was calling out. You heard him. He was calling me out. He was like you next, you next, you next. That’s kind of word for word what he said pretty much, but I’m gonna crack him. I’m gonna crack him, beat him.”

The 23-year-old former interim lightweight champion is eager to take a shot against Gervonta Davis and the events over the weekend and this interview will have only escalated the beef.
