During the 3 February post-fight press conference, Bill interrupted the conference to tell Benn, “I want to come over here and tell you congratulations, and you know maybe we can do something.” Not minding the interruption, Benn stated, “You know I am keen for that fight,” referring to a prior callout from Bill for a fight between Haney and Benn.

Bill Haney further added, “Respect to you and your family. You guys are legends in the sport. Of course, it will be an honor and a pleasure if that time presents [for a fight].” Seeing the same unfold on X, Stevenson tweeted at the clip, claiming, “Hellavu business man gotta give dude his flowers.” Interestingly, while Bill is all cordial and polite with Benn, the same can not be said about his son!
