It is all money matters! Deontay Wilder, the boxer considered one of the best in the Heavyweight division, has recently been in the news for his possible fight against former UFC champion Francis Ngannou has made headlines again today after a piece of information was spread out by talkSport’s boxing editor, Michael Benson. His statement has put one of the most intriguing fights in the weight class, Wilder vs Andy Ruiz Jr, into question.

Michael Benson on Twitter expressed that Deontay Wilder is frustrated with PBC and currently is looking for a new promoter to work with. He shared the news after ESPN’s Mike Coppinger, shared the devastating news on Twitter that Wilder is getting offers from another promoter as the money involved in the Wilder vs Ruiz fight is not good as of now. As per reports, Wilder is unhappy with the money deal for the upcoming Andy Ruiz fight and might split with PBC soon. After the news erupted, it became unsure whether they will fight on the prescribed date. If the news turned into reality, then it will further extend the date of Ruiz vs Wilder, apart from having date clashes with other fights.

Deontay Wilder’s ‘frustration’ with PBC

Benson wrote on Twitter, “Deontay Wilder is reportedly now fielding offers from promoters for his next fight, with his team bringing up a potential Francis Ngannou clash. It’s claimed there is ‘frustration’ between Wilder and PBC over money for a proposed Andy Ruiz fight”. 

As per previous fights, PBC is responsible for promoting his fights. Now it is understandable from his statement that, it is going to hugely impact both Wilder and Ruiz. Multiple fights get halted due to disputes over the promotions, and Wilder vs Ruiz is the next may be. However, the news has created havoc among the fans, and they are anxious about the post.

After the news touched millions of fans of both Wilder, and Ruiz, went into the dark. They slammed the boxers and PBC with some mixed reactions.
