Oleksandr’s Usyk’s manager blames Tyson Fury for the heavyweight unification bout not being finalized. The off-court negotiations have become a hindrance to the bout not taking place. Although, Fury and Usyk both claim to want the fight—they also take frequent digs at one another for not having enough guts to step into the ring. Not to mention, it appears that the fight may not take place this year as Fury has been rumored to face former heavyweight champion, Andy Ruiz, and many other fighters

The potential bout between the two will go down in history if it takes place. Considering, how rare it is to witness two undefeated heavyweight champions compete against one another in their prime, to etch their name as one of the greatest. To witness the same, the fans have been eagerly waiting for this bout to take place. However, there is a sense of frustration amidst the negotiations dragging on for too long. The same sentiments are being felt by Usyk’s manager who warned Fury about missing his chance to land “the biggest fight” of his career if the final offer is not agreed upon.

Alex Krassyuk gives the latest update on Fury vs Usyk deal

Alex Krassyuk is the manager of Oleksandr’s Usyk and managing director of K2 Promotions, a leading promotional company in the sport. Recently, he was being interviewed by IFL TV and was asked about the status of Usyk’s potential fight against Fury. In the interview, Krassyuk made it evident that an offer will be made from their end very soon. And it now boils down to Fury’s desire to compete against Usyk and his team’s willingness to sign the dotted line.

He stated, “According to my knowledge, they will receive written offer very soon. It will be their decision or Tyson’s decision whether to either take it or leave it. We have done everything possible to make this fight happen and now the ball is on Tyson side. He adds, “If you take it, then you have a big fight. The biggest fight of your career. If you hesitate or if you tried to swing around, it shows that you are not serious.”

Thereafter, he asserts if Fury chooses to not accept the offer then the latter should retire from the sport forever and relinquish his belt. Reflecting on the same, he stated, “You have to relinquish the belt and retire. Not for one month or one week as you retired shortly or recently, but probably forever.”
