Claressa Shields is a fighter inside and outside the ring. Being one of the most recognized faces of women’s boxing, Shields does not shy away from voicing her opinion to fight for noble causes. On her Instagram, Shields expressed her concern over how some men treat women in relationships. The Olympic gold medalist confessed that women find it difficult to cope with heartbreaks.
Shields has over 600,000 Instagram followers and many young females look up to her. She is aware of her influence and endeavors to channel it for the better. Recently, she requested to understand their better half and treat them with love and respect to prevent the breakdown of relationships.

Claressa Shields talks about women dealing with heartbreaks
The 28-year-old former champion expressed her thoughts that had been clouding their mind for a while. In an Instagram story, Sheilds expressed that, contrary to patriarchal assumptions, women are physically and emotionally not strong. She stated, “Lately when I have been talking to god. I just asking him to heal me from all the hurt I feel. I’ve always said that physically women are in pain wh*res.”

However, she confesses that women find it hard to handle heartbreaks. She shows her concern over how some females are being treated by their male partners. Reflecting on the same, she states, “But on the flip side. Can’t take a lot when it comes to our hearts! Which idk who invented breaking women’s hearts but all I know is once a woman really boss up and decide she ain’t dealing with her heart being hurt no more.”

Thereafter, she expresses that there is not much one can do when the person is emotionally hurt. She adds, “It’s nothing you can do or say to change that when the heart is numb. It is what it is.” Moreover, she believes that women being hurt can be abated if men take the high horse of treating their women feel special. She stated, “So to y’all men that got great women don’t treat her like she replaceable or make her feel uncared about.”

Furthermore, she concluded by warming men to treat them with love and respect, otherwise, they shall not stay with them for long. She expressed, “Real women only deal with the crap for a short amount of time til she just…give up and say F it.”
