Boxer Prince Patel, who has been calling out the current IBF flyweight champion for some time, recently engaged in an altercation with boxer Frazer Clarke at York Hall. While Patel competes in the bantamweight division, Clarke is a heavyweight fighter in the sport. Reportedly, the two started a fight at York Hall, and security intervened to separate them. Undoubtedly, Clarke was too much for Patel to handle by himself. Anyway, Patel, who is 27-1-2 in pro boxing, has frequently called out Sunny Edwards and urged the same to defend his title against him.

In a recent interview, Patel claimed that Edwards sold no tickets and would be missing all his teeth if they fought. “You sell no tickets. Imagine, if you fought me, you’d be missing all your teeth. You got one proper belt and you won’t defend it against me because you’re scared. He doesn’t wanna fight me because he doesn’t wanna get hurt,” Patel stated. After the news of Patel’s altercation with Clarke became public, Edwards took to Twitter. Here is what he said.
Sunny Edwards claps back at Prince Patel as he gets “gripped up”
In his recent interview with Boxing King Media, Prince Patel claimed in public that he would defeat Sunny Edwards if they ever fought. Other than accusing Edwards of sporting “two accents“, Patel declared, “He’s scared. He clearly doesn’t want to fight me for obvious reasons.” After the altercation between Clarke and Patel became public, Edwards took to Twitter and said, “This what you get for running your mouth on the internet 🤣 Prince Patel getting gripped up“.
One fan commented, “Yeah, this is just stupid though. A heavyweight boxer gripping up a man who’s half his size but got scared to fight Wardley. Why didn’t he have the same energy for people his size?”
