After his loss against Tommy Fury on February 26th, Jake Paul addressed if the British boxer impressed him in the latest episode of BS w/ Jake Paul in his elder brother Logan Paul‘s presence and subsequent questions fired at him. According to ‘The Maverick’, Jake Paul’s “energy wasn’t there” as the latter squared off against Fury on February 26th. In his reply to his brother, Jake Paul spoke about being sick for four weeks and having jet lag for an additional week before stepping inside the ring.
“I think lots of reasons. I mean like I was sick for four weeks out of this nine-week camp. And then was traveling, Jet lagged for like another week of that,” said ‘The Problem Child’ on BS w/Jake Paul to ‘The Maverick’. Immediately, Logan Paul asked, “What did he [Tommy Fury] do that was tough?”
In a staggering reply, Jake Paul disclosed that “it had nothing to do with him“. In fact, after facing Fury, Paul is of the view that Anderson Silva was the tougher opponent he faced in boxing. “He wasn’t that great at all. I think Anderson [Silva] was tougher than him,” Paul added by saying.

Boxing fans feel otherwise as Jake Paul speaks about being sick ahead of facing Tommy Fury
It has barely been a week since Jake Paul fought Tommy Fury. As Fury won via a split decision, Paul received his first loss in pro boxing. Later, Paul even urged his fans to judge him by his losses in a tweet. However, following the aforementioned statement by Paul, talkSport correspondent Michael Benson took to Twitter and shared it. Here is what the boxing fans are saying. According to Yungx_ricky, “this is why no one respects Jake Paul“. They believe now that Paul has lost the fight, he is asserting he was sick.
And this is why no one respects Jake Paul. During the Co-Main Event they asked Jake was he 100% and he said yes. Now that he lost he was sick?

However, JRomeo feels that Paul got “outboxed for 90% of the fight” against Fury.
Excuses aside Jake acts like the fight was close. Yes, the judges had it close but anyone with real boxing knowledge saw Jake get outboxed for 90% of the fight.

Adam found it hard to believe that Paul had “jet lag” since he turned up at the venue two weeks before Tommy Fury.
