Recently, Jake Paul lined up to promote the highly expected fight between Amanda Serrano and Katie Taylor. Paul is keen on promoting female boxers and wants to change the perspective of boxing fans towards female pugilists. Talking to media at a press conference in London, he said, “You know, and this is what it’s all about, setting the precedent because…and for Amanda, especially as a friend, she’s just like, ‘yeah, like women have been taken advantage of for so long in the sport.”

He further added, “You know, what we are doing here is, you know, trying to reset the narrative and change that, and every little thing helps but this is a massive milestone and a massive step. So, it’s really cool to see and, you know, I think this fight will inspire a ton of young women as well to become excited, to become boxers, which is awesome.”

The fight between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano
The epic rumble between undisputed lightweight champion Katie Taylor and unified featherweight champion Amanda Serrano is all set to take place on April 30 at Madison Square Garden.
