It seems like WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury is a fan of YouTube sensation Logan Paul. The Gypsy King has always been fascinated by the entertainment part of the sports, even making a run in the WWE. Now with Paul following his footsteps and making his own name in wrestling’s premiere promotion, Fury can’t help but show his excitement.

In an interview with Behind The Gloves, Fury revealed that he was excited to see Paul face WWE champion Roman Reigns. “I think that Roman Reigns and Jake Paul is an exciting. Logan Paul, rather it’s an exciting fight you know. Logan’s a Collegiate wrestler, so he’s no newcomer to wrestling, and I thought his debut was fantastic.” said Fury.

He then added that he was looking forward to seeing Paul dish it out with Reigns in his second fight for the WWE Championship. “I’m looking forward to watching Roman Reigns and Logan Paul getting on in the WWE for the heavyweight championship in the world in his second fight. That’s like Tyson Fury s**t, come on son.” He added.

Following this, Fury even claimed that Paul might challenge him next in a ‘dancing match’. He stated that ‘The Maverick’ had already faced Floyd Mayweather and will now compete against Roman Reigns, which might make Fury his next opponent. “First he’s fighting Floyd Mayweather, yeah and now he’s fighting Roman Reigns yeah. Probably going to fight me next or have a dancing match for me or something I don’t know. ” said Fury

Fury certainly seems to respect Paul’s accomplishments in the various fields that he took part in. Moreover, the two also share some similarities, with both having a knack for the entertainment side of sports, selling their fights to gain audiences.

Tyson Fury calls off the potential fight with Anthony Joshua

In the interview, Fury also called off a potential fight with fellow countryman Anthony Joshua. Despite the negotiations dragging on for almost a month, neither side seemed to agree on the terms of the fight. The Gypsy King has now moved on and is now in search of a new opponent. “There’s no more fights now because let’s face it, I’ve tried to make this fight with those guys for about four years. There has always been something stopping it. So if they’re not going to fight, they’re not going to fight. I’m not going to waste any more time.” He said.

According to the Telegraph, Fury has now cited former rival Dereck Chisora as a front-runner for his next fight. The two have previously faced twice with Fury getting the victory on both occasions. This made many people wonder why the heavyweight champ has chosen Chisora as his next opponent instead of rising star Joe Joyce.
