The rematch between Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk was one to remember. Both fighters engaged in a close battle, with Usyk gaining victory via a split decision. However, a bizarre incident occurred after Usyk’s win as a frustrated Joshua tried to justify his loss in an embarrassing post-fight speech.

Joshua was met with a lot of criticism for his speech. Moreover, WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury only added salt to the wounds as he came out to give his opinion on the fight. Right after the bout was over, Fury took to Instagram to call out both Joshua and Usyk for their performance. He claimed that this was the worst heavyweight title fight he had seen in his life.

“After watching that both of them were s**t. It was one of the worst heavyweight title fights I have ever seen, it was bull***t” Fury said. Moreover, he also claimed that he could face both Joshua and Usyk on the same night and even hinted at a potential comeback.” I can face both of them in the same night. F*****g s**t, get your checkbooks out cause The Gypsy King is here to stay forever.” He added.
It looks like Fury isn’t impressed by either man’s performance and feels he could beat them easily. However, he will now have his eyes set on Usyk to finally get a title unification match.

Will Tyson Fury take on Oleksandr Usyk?
After the fight, Usyk was asked about if he would like to face Fury next. The unified champ responded by stating that he will fight Tyson Fury next or he won’t fight at all. Moreover, with Fury now also showing interest in the fight. This could be a possibility. Although Fury could face Joshua next due to the financial benefit, he cannot cement his legacy as a heavyweight great if he does not fight Usyk.

The bragging rights of becoming an undisputed champion are unparalleled. Moreover, this feat has not been accomplished in the heavyweight division in almost 22 years. This fight is clearly the next step forward in both their careers unless Fury stays retired from boxing.
