Tyson Fury Gives Harsh Advice to Derek Chisora After Absolutely Destroying Him in Trilogy

Tyson Fury has successfully returned to the ring achieving a 10th-round TKO victory over rival Derek Chisora in their trilogy fight on December 3. This is now the second trilogy that Fury has won in his career in professional boxing. Having fought Dillian Whyte in April, ‘The Gypsy king’ announced his retirement earlier this year but declared his comeback following Joshua’s second loss to Oleksandr Usyk.

After his latest win, Fury was asked if he would want Chisora to retire from boxing. In addition, Fury was asked what Chisora might feel since the latter was also a good friend of ‘The Gypsy King’.

Fury said, “I know where Derek’s coming from right now and I can’t speak for any other man. I can’t make decisions for anybody.”

According to Fury, Chisora has been in this game “long enough” to understand what is best for him. Although  Fury expressed how he personally would want to see Chisora retire from boxing.

“Derek will have to make his own decisions. And he’s been in this game long enough, he’s a veteran, and he will make the right decisions best for him and his family. For me, I would love to see him retire but still stay in the sport,” said Fury.

Fury thinks Chisora is a legend of the sport whom people love seeing

While Fury fought only his 34th fight, Chisora fought the 46th pro fight of his life on December 3. According to Fury, Derek Chisora, 38, is a legend in the history of British boxing.

Following the end of their fight, Fury praised Chisora by saying, “He’s a legend of this game in British boxing. He’s like a folk hero.”

People love him and who wouldn’t want to tune into Derek’s fights? Always entertaining. Always gives his all. He’s definitely a good fighting man, for sure,” concluded Fury who earlier held the opinion that Chisora was a mug that couldn’t fight.
