Tyson Fury Knocks Deontay Wilder Out Cold to Win the Trilogy

Despite all his efforts, Deontay Wilder couldn’t prove his supremacy over Tyson Fury in their trilogy collision at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The American star fell prey to Fury’s skill-set once again and lost his chance to become the 2X heavyweight world champion. Wilder saw some moments of glory in the fight. Unfortunately for him, it wasn’t enough to grab the win.

On the other end, Tyson Fury overcame the minor setbacks he suffered and handed Deontay Wilder his second defeat. He defended his WBC title in style via a round 11 KO and sent a message to the entire heavyweight division.

Deontay Wilder threw the first shots and attacked Tyson Fury’s body in the very first minute of the fight with constant jabs. Although many of those shots were faint, Wilder looked sharp. ‘The Bronze Bomber’ displayed some sheer changes in his body movements. However, Tyson Fury planted a clean right to close off round one. It was the perfect start to a heated rivalry between two of the best heavyweights.

Following a close round one, Fury and Wilder looked more aggressive in the second. Tyson Fury checked his stance and troubled his American rival, which resulted in several clinches.

‘The Gypsy King’ and ‘The Bronze Bomber’ traded hard blows in the third. While Wilder’s right hand is known for its impeccable power, it was Fury who came in with a strong right this time. Just at that point, Wilder rebounded with haymakers. The heavyweight collision touched its peak as Fury knocked down Deontay Wilder with an excellent combination. Although Wilder went back up, Tyson Fury troubled him with heavy shots.

Deontay Wilder didn’t look steady on his feet, and Tyson Fury captured the moment to cement his dominance. He constantly pressured Wilder and cornered him with more haymakers. At 1:10 of round 4, Tyson Fury had landed 44 punches in response to Wilder’s 22. But the drama wasn’t over.

Wilder unleashed his best shots and knocked down Tyson Fury for the third time in his career in round 4. He repeated the same in the round and thrilled the entire combat sports world.

Wilder had entered round 5 with sheer confidence as Fury seemed drained. It was a massive turn in the fight. Deontay Wilder was clearly taking charge, but wasn’t being allowed to dominate.

Tyson Fury regained himself in round six and hit a tired Wilder several times. It included a couple of uppercuts from Fury which shook Deontay Wilder. Although ‘The Bronze Bomber’ managed to enter round seventh, Fury almost stopped him.

Deontay Wilder had almost no energy by then, and his footwork also looked bleak. Despite looking like he was worn out, the American star continued boxing.

Unfortunately, it didn’t prove very beneficial to him, as a wobbly Wilder consumed the lopsided heat from Tyson Fury in round eight. The same happened in round 9.

Meanwhile, Fury leveled the knockdown score by flooring Wilder in round 10. It was another shock to the American fans. However, Deontay Wilder ended the round with all-out action against the WBC champion Tyson Fury.
