Tyson Fury isn’t intimidated by the stern claims that Deontay Wilder has made ahead of their trilogy fight for the WBC world heavyweight title on October 9 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Despite going against an elite knockout artist in Wilder, Fury believes he can beat ‘The Bronze Bomber’ in an even more resounding manner.

The undefeated WBC champion channelized his ideology in a recent interaction, which is similar to what Mike Tyson believed back in his fighting days.

Tyson Fury said, “With six weeks with Sugar Hill [Steward] I changed my full style, my full outlook in boxing. Deontay Wilder’s had 16-17 months, however long it is since we fought, to change his style… Everybody will have a game plan. Everybody will say what they think they are gonna do. What Mike Tyson said is 100% true, [everybody has a plan] until they gets punched in their face. Then they realize that they have gotta do what they have gotta do to survive.”

After going the distance in 2018, the second fight was in favor of Tyson Fury. The Brit star stopped Wilder via seventh-round TKO. Hence, the third meeting will now settle the scores.
