Tyson Fury Refuses What May Have Been the Largest Commerical Proposition of His Life

British boxing sensation Tyson Fury is one of the sport’s biggest draws. His most recent match against Dillian Whyte at London’s Wembley Stadium drew an astonishing 94,000 spectators. For the year 2023, he has an amazing schedule for boxing matches. Nevertheless, he was given a big offer, which might have been the biggest business deal of his life. However, the Gypsy King flatly refused it.
Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) is a fast-growing organization in the world of combat sports. Despite not having held many significant matches until now, it has quickly gained notoriety and is projected to build a reputation in the future. BKFC president David Feldman was in conversation with TMZ Sports, where he revealed, “Look, we made a play for Tyson Fury. But he has three more boxing matches that he’s definitely slated to do.”

Feldman further added, “It was a different kind of deal. I mean it was a deal where [Fury would] be involved in the growth of this thing and maybe get a piece of the company. At this time, he can’t do it right now, but we’re gonna revisit that.” If Fury would have accepted the offer, it could have been one of the most lucrative deals for him.

The 34-year-old fighter declared his return to the ring in order to defeat Oleksandr Usyk of Ukraine for the title of undisputed heavyweight champion. He later disclosed, however, that his first bout would be against Derek Chisora. It’s scheduled for December 3rd at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Additionally, 50,000 tickets for the match have already been sold.
