Although retired since this April, Tyson Fury tops the ESPN heavyweight (unlimited) divisional ranking, still one step ahead of the Ukrainian champ. On the other end, Oleksandr Usyk just had two back-to-back fights with and victories over Anthony Joshua. In spite of the boxers the Ukrainian has conquered, including the likes of Tony Bellew, Anthony Joshua, and Murat Gassiev, there is still one fight Usyk must have in order to call himself the best heavyweight of his time.
Undoubtedly, that fight concerns ‘The Gypsy King’. As per the beliefs of the boxing community, Oleksandr Usyk must test his skills against Tyson Fury and settle the debate once and for all. However, Usyk, who has for long not spent times away from the gym, at present, asks for a vacation.

Prior to the Joshua vs. Usyk II fight, a significant group belonging to boxing expected a Tyson Fury comeback to meet the winner of the said fight. Concerning the whole matter, Tyson Fury reportedly said, “Oleksandr Usyk has stated that he doesn’t wanna fight anymore. He wants to fight next year, not this year. So I’m not gonna wait around for anybody, I’m gonna be announcing a fight next week”.
There are so many questions to ponder at this very moment. Is it because Usyk is exhausted from his busy schedule and last fight that Tyson Fury is eager to fight him now? And even if he does make a comeback in Usyk’s absence, who will be Fury’s worthy fight?
