Peter Fury shared a story about his Palestinian friend, Rasmi Awad. The latter used to be Yasser Arafat’s army general. He further added, “We spent probably about three years together, and we ate together every single day. We ate lamb, and he done it in vinegar and he spiced it, marinated it. We used to have it every other day. God fearing man, you know if there’s ever a man who I respect, it’s him. We was in prison together and he’s a doctor, that was his profession. All these struggles and everything else, it needs to come to an end.”
He further said that good people suffer all the time. But the Lord doesn’t pick, everyone is the same for Him, He is beyond religion and culture. Following that he said that he believes that there is only one God and added, “God bless the Palestinian people, stop the wars, stop the violence, its no good, that’s my opinion. You know what Jesus said? Peace, love everybody, as you love yourself.”
