The boxing world is excited about the upcoming fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson. However, at 57, many are already counting out the legendary ‘Iron’ Mike against his much younger opponent. But a recent training video posted by Tyson himself might throw a wrench into those predictions. Tyson, looking surprisingly sharp and powerful, defied expectations in one of his training clips.

In that clip, Tyson showed impressive work on the mitts and asked, “You still wanna f**k with me?” This was to intimidate ‘The Problem Child’. However, Jake Paul answered back. Can Tyson recapture his former glory and silence the doubters? Or will Jake Paul continue his streak of knocking out older legends? The July 20th fight at AT&T Stadium promises fireworks, and it’s only getting interesting with all the trash talk going on.

For the past 3 days, Mike Tyson has been regularly uploading his training montages, as he’s preparing for the upcoming fight. Tyson has suffered a back injury in the past, so much so that he was even spotted in a wheelchair once. However, in a new social media video, Iron Mike has thrown down the gauntlet – and his back problems seem to have suddenly disappeared.

The clip showcases Tyson lifting and tossing a heavy gym ball, an exercise notorious for putting immense strain on the back. His movements are surprisingly fluid, a stark contrast to the images that fueled speculation about his physical limitations. In the video, Tyson said, “Day 3. You still wanna f**k with me?

In response, Jake Paul replied to the post, saying, “Yes, yes I do.” He wasn’t intimidated or even concerned by Tyson’s threat and was ready to make his point in the boxing ring soon.

However, it’s no joke that Tyson’s old age might prove to be a safety hazard since he already suffers from sciatica. A senior doctor has also relayed his concerns about the upcoming July fight.

A Doctor doesn’t consider this fight safe for ‘Iron’ Mike

Mike Tyson’s highly anticipated return to the ring against Jake Paul is generating buzz but for all the wrong reasons. An academic, Stephen Hughes, a senior lecturer of medicine at Anglia Ruskin University, has issued a stark warning about the health risks Mike Tyson faces at 57 years old in an article he wrote for The Conversation. His biggest concern? Brain damage.

According to Hughes, repeated blows to the head can cause bridging veins to tear, leading to a subdural hematoma – bleeding within the brain. The consequences can be devastating – confusion, loss of consciousness, and even death. Tyson’s age makes him particularly vulnerable. Brain tissue shrinks with age, potentially increasing the risk of these tears. And if past struggles with alcohol are any indicator, the risk gets even higher. Alcohol can exacerbate brain shrinkage, further amplifying the danger zone.

This isn’t just theoretical. The academician cited the example of a patient who was a boxer who suffered permanent disabilities and depression after a subdural hematoma. So, things could get really ugly for ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’, and hopefully he’ll take all the health measures before stepping into the ring against the young Youtuber-turned-boxer.
