Rau’shee Warren silenced his critics and left no doubts about his superiority in the ring against Damien Vazquez. The Showtime PPV, which lacked superstar appearances, saw exceptional outcomes occur in the in-ring clashes. Meanwhile, Warren seemingly stole the show with his 2 round stoppage win over Vazquez.
The 10-round battle was a lopsided affair from the very beginning. Rau’shee Warren emerged as the aggressor and dropped his rival twice in round one. However, round two saw him surpass Vazquez in style.
While many had predicted Damien Vazquez to return stronger in round two, the opposite happened. With 48 seconds left in the round, Warren planted a left hook on his opponent. The massive shot cracked Vazquez and made him wobble in front of the entire arena. Although ‘Sugar’ tried to get back to his feet, the referee closed the show.
