The former world No.1 tennis player, Maria Sharapova, once laced gloves but not for testing her boxing skills but for unleasing her anger on the mitts and punching bag. She began it as a therapy to manage her anger.
The Russian Tennis queen posted her boxing session on social media and wrote, “Anger management on a Sunday afternoon.”

In the video, the 35-year-old, appeared hitting mitts with combination punches. Though shots thrown were not so legitimate, they were fast and smooth. Since, Sharapova has spent a lot of time in a physically demanding sport, it was not surprising to see her agility even in her boxing training.
Maria Sharapova and Floyd Mayweather’s viral moment
The Russian tennis artist once made a hilarious moment with the former five time world champion Floyd Mayweather. Everyone knows Sharapova has an exceptional gifted body. She is 6 feet 2 inches tall. This worked in her favor well when she shared the same stage with ‘The Pretty Boy’, who stands 5 feet 8 inches.
Both walked to the stage to present the award for ‘The Money Team’ event, and the huge height difference was quite visible. While Sharapova was speaking, Mayweather was standing behind her. He got fade out for a moment. When his turn came, he came in front. Meanwhile, Sharapova leaned on him jokingly to remind the boxing legend of her lanky presence. This made the audience laugh.
Even Mayweather took it in a good zest and enjoyed the funny moment with Sharapova.

Sharapova’s training video on the sand went viral, in which she was seen throwing throwing punches. She threw few combinations on mitts with her trainer. Furthermore, it seemed that she really enjoyed doing this because she was dancing and enjoying the moment while preparing for it.

In the next part of the video, she did some heavy workout in the form of weight training.
