Mr. Patrick’s punching skills camouflage his age
Danny shared a video of Mr. Patrick on Instagram and wrote, “My man. The Legend. Patrick Devellerez. 75 yrs young. Still got it mate. My 1st Boxing trainer. Enabled me to do what I did. Love this man dearly. Working on Turbo’s pop/pop/bang. GreenMachine#2”. ESPN Ringside later shared this post saying, “He’s 75-years-old and still throwing hands”.

Danny Green never forgot his boxing mentor!
We hear so many stories where people forget their former mentors once they attain success. Danny Green is not one of them. He has repeatedly acknowledged ‘Pat’ for all that he has done for Green. In a Facebook post from 2013, Danny wrote, “My man!!! Without this guy I wouldn’t be writing this post. Pat gave the the best foundations on which to step out into the world of boxing. Don’t worry about old mate either, can put em together like you wouldn’t believe. Rules from pat- punch hard. Work hard. Punch hard. Move your feet. Keep it basic. Punch hard. Hahahaha love ya to bits mate, thnx for being there.”

Mr. Devellerez must be a satisfied man because he still has his coachee idolizing him. Plus, he still is fit and healthy enough to train someone 60 years younger than him. It is just mind-boggling how he has maintained his physical and mental fitness. True inspiration!
