The British boxing sensation, Joe Joyce, donned the most hilarious walkout costume for his fight against the veteran Carlos Takam. This was his first boxing outing of 2021, and Joyce wanted to make the most out of it in every second. As a result, he wore an unusual red-colored outfit that accrued the attention of the entire boxing fraternity.

Despite stunning fans with his unique costume, Joyce’s sole aim on fight night was to bag a crucial win. He certainly executed his game plan once he took up the squared circle against his rival, Takam.

‘Juggernaut’ began the fight slowly as he wanted to decode Takam’s style. Once he figured out the latter, he went all guns blazing and adopted an offensive approach. Takam, who didn’t wish to get pressed, began throwing wild hits at the Brit.

Joyce figured that out and showcased some exuberant defensive skills in this fight. He dodged the heat coming off his contemporary’s hands and landed some quick counter-attacks.
The fight seemed in his favor from the very beginning, and in the later rounds, it was clear that he would win if it went to the distance. That said, ‘Juggernaut’ left no doubts about his performance in his first big test at the heavyweight landscape. He attained a solid T/KO win in round 6.
