The iconic trilogy between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury is just four days away. Until now, 2021 has hosted some of the most thrilling and highly captivating boxing bouts, but Wilder and Fury’s third meet is expected to be bigger than any other boxing bout for the right reasons.

The last time Wilder and Fury locked horns was back in February 2020. Here, ‘The Bronze Bomber’ succumbed to a devastating T/KO loss. Post that fight, he put up several excuses for his loss and one of the reasons he stated was that his heavy walkout costume affected his legs.
Recently, in interaction with Brian Custer, Wilder hyped his walkout costume. He said, “Just you wait, just you wait. Just you wait. Hey, buy tickets just to see what I’m gonna wear. Click that pay-per-view button just to see what Deontay Wilder’s gonna wear.”

Wilder, in his rematch against Fury, didn’t seem to be in the fight. Prior to facing ‘The Gypsy King’, the Alabama native had one of the most iconic runs in the heavyweight landscape. But Fury boxed smartly, and he decoded Wilder’s fight style.

The Brit dealt a tremendous beating to the 35-year-old and beat him via T/KO in round 7.
Deontay Wilder will look to become a champion and regain his spot
Wilder, despite a dreadful loss to Fury, still ranks among the top heavyweights of the modern era. However, as he doesn’t hold any championship, it doesn’t really look great for ‘The Bronze Bomber’.

That said, he desperately needs a belt to his name to re-gain his aura and begin a dominant run at the top spot of the division.
Hence, the Saturday night bout will be the biggest and perhaps the most important fight for Wilder. Considering what’s at stake, it will be intriguing to see how he presents his polished version in front of the world.
