As Kambosos Jr. demanded more, Triller washed their hands of the bout and lost their deposit. Subsequently, IBF found that Triller defaulted its contractual obligation and stripped them of their rights to the fight.

It seems that the WBC doesn’t want to go down the IBF path. Hence, they confirmed the $4 million deposit from Frank Warren before the confirmation of the date and venue.

What this means for Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte is that everything is on track. Once a date and venue get fixed, it will be smooth sailing ahead.
