Former unified light-welterweight champion Amir Khan, who is retired, has been slammed with a two-year ban from competing. In his last fight against Kell Brook, he tested positive for a banned substance known as ostarine. Ostarine is reportedly a drug that can have very similar effects as testosterone intake. A year after the fight, UKAD imposed a two-year ban, despite Khan’s retirement. It is worth mentioning that ‘King’ lost his last fight against Brook via knockout in the sixth round. Khan has been in hearings regarding his ban, where he managed to prove that his ingestion wasn’t intentional.

But UKAD has still not made any rectification in their order. Boxing journalist from talkSPORT, Michael Benson reported the incident on Twitter.
