‘The Problem’ Adrien Broner staged his return to action with a commendable unanimous win over Jovanie Santiago in last night’s headlining clash. It simultaneously ended his win-drought of over four years that began following his victory over Adrian Granados in 2017.
However, Broner is still far away from regaining the relevancy in the current title rides. The 31-year-old former four-division champion entered the ring to end his 2-year-long hiatus. However, being the professional that he is, he may not be thrilled with his display and will have worked out what he needs to improve upon in future bouts.

Broner has claimed that he wants to win a world championship again. He has also hinted at looking at the 140 lbs roster and it can be a possible option for him.
The 140 lbs roster is stacked with several elites and champions in Josh Taylor, Jose Ramirez, and many more. However, considering his long-layoff, Broner might need to take a few more fights before boxing against the champions.

‘The Problem’ can use the time to shake off the cobwebs and grow into the welterweight unit. Given his name and track record, he will not have a shortage of opponents and all he needs to do is ready himself and accept bouts quickly.
Broner’s performance against Jovanie Santiago wasn’t very acknowledgeable. So, exhibition fights can also attract the former champion’s attention. A few days back, he claimed of being bankrupt and requested Floyd Mayweather to organize an exhibition clash with him.
