Both the men entered a violent tussle as they wanted a win at any cost. Consequently, they even head-butted each other in round 3, which eventually caused a cut on Diaz‘s left eye. Yet, he didn’t stop, nor was he ready to back out of the contest.

As the fight progressed, Diaz turned aggressive and came out with some fiery straight lefts and hooks to attack Fortuna’s body. This strategy worked for him, and Diaz just capitalized on this in the later rounds.
