Ye’s statements cost him dearly with major brands cutting ties with him. Adidas, with whom he had a long-time collaboration, distanced itself from the controversial rapper. In a recent press release, the company backed its decision by saying, “Ye’s recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful, and dangerous. And they violate the company’s values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect, and fairness.”

Notably, ‘Yeezy’ was a fashion collaboration between the rapper and the brand, which was notable for its high-end sneakers.

In a tweet, Paul shared his thoughts on the brands distancing themselves from the rapper.

Fans share their thoughts on the statement made by Jake Paul

Fans were intrigued by Jake Paul’s statement about Ye. And a lot of fans took to social media to share their thoughts on the same.

User @Tomas_Menos felt like Adidas might do the same for a tax write-off.

But a few fans felt it would be better if Paul buys the stock and donates it instead.

Meanwhile, a few users wished to shift their focus to the fact most high-end brands produce their products in sweatshops.

A few fans however felt that Adidas might not donate the inventory. And even mentioned that they would still profit from Yeezy products.
