“You Are a True Survivor”: Amid Ryan Garcia Lawsuit, Oscar De La Hoya Wins Hearts of Fans With Recent Post

Oscar De La Hoya claimed to be at peace with himself, on his tell-all documentary about his life on HBO. However, he doesn’t seem to be seeking peace with his former pugilist, Ryan Garcia. They’re going toe-to-toe against each other in legal warfare. De La Hoya sued Garcia for not honoring their contract. While Garcia sought to find an exit clause in their contract. The whole fiasco started when Garcia felt that after his fight with Gervonta Davis, his promoter had abandoned him amidst a post-fight press conference.

De La Hoya believes they have years left in the contract. So Garcia cannot leave him as it’d be a financial setback for The Golden Boy Promotions. Amid all this drama, there seems to be a “standstill” as of now. De La Hoya has posted a recent picture from a modeling gig. ‘Golden Boy’ was seen rocking a blue suit, and a lot of fans praised the former boxing champion.

Despite all the drama going on, the fans only had good things to say about the Los Angeles native orthodox boxer. Among the fans, even De La Hoya’s current girlfriend, Holly Sonders, has also pitched about the goodness of her partner.

De La Hoya’s girlfriend, Holly Sonders, called him beautiful, and he’s influenced a massive audience through his hard work and great work ethic. She wrote, “You’re badass and gorgeous. You’re right, more people need to pick themselves up, get their bodies and minds moving, and back away from their keyboards.”

One of the fans listed De La Hoya’s achievements and stated that he’s a complete all-rounder. They wrote, “World title holder in 6 different weight classes, successful promoter, boxing hall of famer.. the man has done it all!!”

Another fan stated that the boxer is a true survivor who’s done a lot of things in his life. So he deserves to be where he’s at. The fans have a lot of respect for the promoter. They also showed the world that it’s quite possible to keep personal debacles aside from one’s feats and the great things they’ve done for the sport.
