Former welterweight champion, Shawn Porter, who seems ready to return to action, has several possible names on his hit list. One of them could be the undefeated youngster Conor Benn. After his win KO win over Samuel Vargas in April, Benn has taken shots at multiple former champions. First, he called out Amir Khan, which was denied by Khan. Then Conor Benn spoke about his father’s wish to see him fight Shawn Porter.

While ‘Showtime’ Porter didn’t rule out the possibility, he also expressed his world championship stature to belittle Conor Benn’s call out. Via Boxing Social and Michael Benson, Porter said, “After his last fight, hearing that his dad, Nigel, wants his son to fight me next. Your eyes are bigger than your stomach. If things made sense, maybe that’s something we could do. But I’ve been working at world level since 2013.”
