The social media personality Jake Paul and five-weight division champ Floyd Mayweather are well-known rivals. Together, the duo has a history of many infamous incidents. One was the controversial hat fiasco that made the storylines. Typically, whenever the 25-year-old mentions Mayweather’s name, he takes a shot at him. But recently, in an appalling admission, ‘The Problem Child’ made an unbelievable claim.

The unified WBC, WBA, IBF, WBO, and Ring lightweight champion Devin Haney joined the weekly show by Jake Paul on Thursday. Unlike other sports interviews, Paul made it interesting by designing it entertainingly. Instead of long, boring questions, he placed a rapid-fire session. In the quick session of question and answer, Paul asked Haney about his greatest athlete of all time.

Without thinking much, ‘The Dreamer’ came straight with the name of Floyd Mayweather, as if he was ready for this question. According to Haney, Mayweather’s work ethic and discipline are the reason that makes him unmatchable and unique.

This made Paul recall his hat controversy with Mayweather. While talking about it hilariously, ‘The Problem Child’ made a shocking revelation.

“No Floyd, we respect you, bro, I took your hat but if you ask anyone in my camp, I always talk about how awesome you are and how legendary you are um so we respect. Floyd on this side of things and I know that you’re scared to fight me as a real professional. I know you’re scared to fight me as a real professional about okay uh favorite, ” Paul said.

Certainly, it is a big confession that he actually does respects Mayweather.

Why did Jake Paul steal Mayweather’s hat?

During the exhibition bout of his elder brother Logan Paul with ‘The Pretty Boy’, ‘The Problem Child’ intentionally stole the latter’s hat.

The drama started after Mayweather walked off the stage following the end of a press conference at Hard Rock Stadium. While he was engaging with media personnel, Paul stormed at him, taking off his hat.

However, he attempted to run but could not escape.
