The fight was initially scheduled for July 30, however, it nearly got canceled. In the end, the fight was pushed back because AnEsonGib needed medical clearance with the whole card taking place in September.
It seems like Peterson is ready and ahead of schedule for this fight after a video surfaced of him knocking his sparring partner out cold. In a video posted by FightHypeTV, the former Vikings running back is seen sparring and connects with a clean right hook to the jaw of his sparring partner, knocking him down. This left the sparring partner so dazed that he couldn’t take up Peterson’s offer of help back to his feet.
With this devastating KO of his sparring partner, Peterson will be confident that he can get the job done on September 10th.
Moreover, Peterson will be looking to replicate his athleticism on the field in the ring to start his boxing career with a statement.
