A Roast So Brutal Fans Believe It Will Make Jake Paul ‘Cry’

From chasing clout to nasty swipes at fellow athletes, boxers love some good old-fashioned drama. And the YouTuber turned boxer, Jake Paul, is no different. In fact, he recently opened up about a prospective fight with the UFC superstar, Conor McGregor.

Paul was in an interview with Ariel Helwani, host of The MMA Hour. During the conversation, Helwani asked him about the possibility of his bout against McGregor. In response, Paul said, “Yeah, for sure. You know I think for me fighting a couple more times, continuing to knock some people out. And, he has to get active again. Who knows when that’s gonna happen? I think those two things need to happen.”

 

Moreover, he also mentioned that a bout with McGregor is certain to happen at some point in his career. He also stated the bout will be a USD 75-100 million affair, as both of them are businessmen.

Meanwhile, Paul’s statement caught McGregor’s eye. He went on to take a swipe at Paul and call him out for not having enough fights.

In the following tweet, he even went on to call Paul a flop boxer and a nobody.

Many fans sided with Conor McGregor

A lot of fans felt that Jake Paul was no match for Conor McGregor. In fact, a lot of fans even mentioned how Paul was not even a noteworthy opponent for McGregor.

A few users asked McGregor to ignore Paul. Moreover, user @sania92 even mentioned that Paul does not deserve any attention from McGregor.

On the other hand, user @CaptainMurphMMA was quick to point out that Paul will end up crying after the bout.

Similarly, another user quickly shared an old video of Paul calling McGregor his favorite fighter. Moreover, the user also went on to call him a ‘fanboy’.

Meanwhile, user @BlyatSukaa took a swipe at Paul’s PPV sales numbers.

However, user @TonyJustiniano2 reminded us that the McGregor brand name is enough to boost PPV numbers, irrespective of who his opponent is.

Jake Paul finds support in the chaos

A few fans were quick to extend their support to Jake Paul. In fact, a lot of users were quick to point out Paul’s competence in the sport of boxing.

A user mentioned how Paul’s first bout with Woodley did reasonably well in PPV sales.

A few users also mentioned that Paul will knockout McGregor in a boxing match. Moreover, user @Bnunezy2424 also reminded McGregor that he was unable to KO, Floyd Mayweather.

Meanwhile, user @johnhelm7 warned McGregor to not let Paul train long enough.

However, user @fassSfordward had a more analytical approach to the scenario. In fact, the user was quick to point out that while Paul lacks the stardom; he was much bigger and stronger than McGregor.
