Leonard Ellerbe spoke to ‘TheMacLife’ after Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul duked it out in an 8-round exhibition bout. The CEO of Mayweather Promotions had plenty to say about Floyd’s performance and also spoke about Mayweather’s former rival, Conor McGregor. The aforementioned stars had a record-breaking bout in 2017 that ended in Mayweather’s favor via tenth-round TKO.
Despite the fact that McGregor was defeated rather handily by ‘Money’ Mayweather, fans are excited to see a rematch. The spectacle of the bout alone is enough to draw fans in and Ellerbe is aware of that. He was an integral part of putting the first fight together and commented on how he believes a second fight will go.
“I didn’t say it [a Conor McGregor rematch] was on the table. I said that Conor McGregor can get it. Floyd would beat his a**. It’s not personal, Conor’s a cool dude. I’m just saying, Conor talks a lot of sh*t cause that’s what he do, you know what I’m saying. That’s what he do.”
