Having been defeated by Jake Paul in their first fight, Tyron Woodley lost a bet. On August 29th, in his debut match in boxing, former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley lost via a split decision to Jake Paul. Woodley was not at all happy with the result of the fight. In fact, ‘The Chosen One’ called for a rematch while still in the ring. In order for him to get a rematch, Paul laid down a condition where Woodley had to get a tattoo that said ‘I love you, Jake Paul.’

In the latest episode of BS w/Jake Paul, Paul, and his guest, Woodley recounted the ink. Suffering the first loss to Jake Paul, Tyron Woodley inked his inner middle finger with letters that read ‘I love Jake Paul.’

On the show, Woodley, reminiscing about the tattoo said, “I thought I won the first fight. I was like f*ck this kid can walk around saying he can f*cking beat me. Like I had this dumb*ss tattoo on my f*cking finger.”

According to ‘The Chosen One’, such competitions are better looked at as “a*s betting.”

According to Woodley, he did not think that Paul would beat inside the boxing ring. Therefore, despite there being a previous conversation about a particular tattoo, Woodley cared little.

He said, “To be frank, I never thought he was gonna beat me. So, I never even give [gave] a f*ck about the tattoo.”

Looking at former rival Jake Paul, he added, “I felt like it was something that you was [were] just trying to make yourself relax and calm because it brings me into your world whether I want to be there or not. If I don’t do it you look like a bit*h. If you do it you look like, you know.”

Paul interfered and called it a “win-win.” Although he agreed with Paul, Woodley said the whole situation to him was “like a movie.”

How Woodley finally got rid of the annoying ink?

Woodley initially did not like Jake Paul. Therefore, Paul insisted Woodley tattoo ‘I love Jake Paul’ on his finger. Undoubtedly, Woodley had to see the ink and read the message every day without a fail. Although Woodley did the tattoo, he would not keep it. He did it so as to stand by his words. However, soon he started exploring means to wear out the ink.
