They delved into Tyson’s 1986 showdown with Marvis Frazier, a fight that marked a turning point in Tyson’s career.

Rogan began, “Frazier fight was one of the most terrifying boxing fights I ever saw in my life. Because it was Marvis Frazier who was uh the son of the great Joe Frazier former World Heavyweight Champion and Marvis Frazier was his son and his son was fighting Mike Tyson in his prime.”

As Rogan continued, he gave details about the fight, “It was on ABC Wide World of Sports, I think what year was this yeah this had to be like 86 or something like that 87. What year was that young Jamie so it had to be somewhere in the 80s.” The conversation turned to Tyson’s early career, with Rogan noting, “He was the man. He was on the cover of Sports Illustrated… it said ‘Kid Dynamite’ and at the time he was 19 years old.”

As they watched the footage of the fight, Sara Weinshenk reacted in shock. “Holy s*it, he’s a machine.” Rogan agreed, stating, “He’s out and it’s I mean his punches are so accurate so fast and so powerful I mean look at he’s catching him on the way down he’s out cold and he hit him twice on the way down while he was out cold yeah that’s how fast he’s hitting him.”

Weinshenk added, “He did it so swiftly,” to which Rogan responded, “I put that version of Mike Tyson I would like to see that version against any heavyweight that ever lived.” In the end, Weinshenk lightened the mood by comparing her own experience of getting punched at Skank Fest to Tyson’s knockout, “I got punched in the face at skank Fest and that was an offender I hated that.
