At one point in their conversation, Shukratov reminded Wight about the time he squared off with ‘Money’ Mayweather, and how the undefeated boxer broke Wight’s nose.

Why did Floyd Mayweather break the Big Show’s nose?

Back in the day, when Denis Shukratov watched the segment for the first time, he felt Floyd Mayweather broke Wight’s nose out of the script and by a major accident. “I told him to punch my nose, I told him to break it. I said yeah, go ahead and punch me. Don’t shove it on the back of my head, but you can tap it,” told Wight.

Paul Wight felt that it would be good for people’s entertainment and so he asked ‘Money’ to break his nose. Undoubtedly, Wight was right, and that one moment stole the show.

“I mean to get a chance to work with probably one of the greatest fighters of all time, certainly one of the greatest defensive fighters of all time. To work with Floyd, to have that opportunity for that spotlight at WrestleMania,” he added. Well, one can only imagine what it may have meant to Wight to share the ring with Mayweather.
