Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Popular Map Returning to Warzone?

The Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War multiplayer introduced fans to a lot of changes in the game. The reveal event showcased a multitude of tweaks made to the game’s multiplayer mode and combat mechanics. The developers also announced the arrival of five new maps to the playlist. Recently, a rumor suggested that the Alcatraz might make its way back to the game.

There were rumors earlier that pointed towards the arrival of Alcatraz in Black Ops Cold War Multiplayer. But it seems the developers planned for it to be a part of Warzone.
Alcatraz was a part of the Black Ops 4 battle royale called Blackout. The map was extremely popular among fans and was quite revolutionary for the COD franchise as well. Its rumored arrival would be extremely beneficial for the upcoming title and would definitely induce nostalgia.

The video also revealed that there was a new Russian map coming to Warzone. But its connection to Alcatraz was still uncertain. Also, there was no news about the availability of the new Russian Map at the time of the game’s launch. A lot of details were missing which will soon be revealed, possibly close to the beta launch date.

Apart from the new maps, the game also tweaked the combat mechanics and weapon movements. The operator movement system also got an upgrade. Additionally, the scorestreaks system was also changed.

Recently, game designer Tony Flame also spoke about the changes made to the game’s damage flinch system. Fans, streamers, and pros from all over the world welcomed this change. Streamer Xclusive Ace showcased this change in action with a video. He also mentioned, “The deeper I look, the more I’m seeing a really solid gameplay foundation”

Treyarch and Raven Software definitely took user feedback seriously and gave the game an extreme makeover. Hopefully, it will all work in their favor when the game launches on November 13.
