Mike Tyson is perhaps one of the most popular and intimidating boxers. Ever since he fought professionally for the first time back in 1985, he has never looked back and has skyrocketed to the peak of glory and fame. Such was his reputation that when he lost his first fight against Buster Douglas, no one dared to believe the result of the fight.
Interestingly, it seems that years after his retirement, he has managed to earn one more accolade. It was sent by his idol, but its not Muhammad Ali.

An unusual situation arose as the boxing legend Mike Tyson did an interview with Patrick Bet-David. As the interview reached its end, the host Patrick Bet-David, stated, “Some of the boxers that you have liked, that you have talked about, one of them has been Roberto Duran.” He revealed that they were going to present him with the belt of the boxing legend.

He also added, “signed with a note to give you as a gift for coming out to the vault conference. Again for the third time coming up and I hope you enjoy this gift.” Tyson appeared ecstatic though he soon stated, “Thank you, I have to go to the bathroom. I have to go back to the bathroom.” He could be seen moving out of the stage leaving the host in splits. However, this was not the only highlight of the podcast.
Tyson reveals an intriguing plan after his death
During one segment of the interview, Mike Tyson delved into various aspects of his life, from his boxing journey to his post-fight years. A standout moment? A young fan’s request for Tyson’s autograph. Instead of penning his name, Tyson handed the boy a photograph. ‘Kid Dynamite’ pointed out how the digital age has transformed the autograph culture.
Delving deeper into his digital inclinations, Tyson shared his unconventional inheritance plan. While most might leave behind wealth or property, Tyson’s most prized possession is his phone. He quipped, “I was telling my wife, when we die instead of giving somebody a will or some furniture or a house, we got to give them my phone cause our secrets would be there.”

His reasoning? The profound reliance of today’s generation on smartphones. Tyson reminisced about simpler times, “The phone is just, we’re useless without our phones, I don’t, if anybody’s old enough when you remember you had all the phone numbers in your head. Remember that now if I lose my phone, I can’t call nobody. I’m in an Everglades without my phone.”
