It is in this belief that the CEO has now embarked on a mission to debunk some major Floyd Mayweather rumors with the facts that he has in possession. One such rumor is that the fighter turned down millions for a fight against Paul Spadafora. Why? It concerns a sparring session between the two.

In 1999, Paul Spadafora entered into a 6-round sparring session against Floyd Mayweather, who had been in the professional ring for about 2 years and was coming off a streak of wins. By the time the fourth round had taken the course, Mayweather was gassed. As per Spadafora’s coach, the latter even asked for an early end to the session. But his requests were to no avail. Since then, Spadafora continues to remain a name that put Floyd Mayweather in check. Recently, someone on Twitter claimed that Mayweather dodged a fight against Spadafora. Years later, the conjecture has been refuted by Ellerbe.
