The Baltimore Ravens’ quarterback Lamar Jackson lit the Saturday night sky with his brilliance. The 27-year-old star helped the Ravens beat the Houston Texans 34-10 in their NFL playoffs clash. He notched up 100 yards and recorded two touchdowns, leaving the sporting world awestruck. Following his performance, loud chants of MVP were heard and one of them was from the Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant.
The All-Star’s chant came at a moment after the Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James expressed his fascination for Jackson with his social media post.
Ja Morant hasn’t had a great outing in the NBA world this season. He came into the season after facing a 25-game suspension. After having played only 9 games, he suffered a labrum tear in his shoulder. And, it resulted in a season-ending surgery for the franchise spearhead.
