Notably, Australia and New Zealand are jointly hosting the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup. Team USA won the last two editions of the World Cup, and they’re looking for a hat-trick of trophies. On the other hand, the Philippines team is on cloud nine after their latest achievement.

Curry’s teammate, Gary Payton II, who joined the Warriors in February this year showed support for the Philippines women’s team. Notably, The Philippines team won their 2nd match of the World Cup against the host nation New Zealand by 1-0.
A 24-minute goal from Sarina Bolden gave them their first victory in the World Cup’s history. Moreover, it was the first goal they had ever scored in World Cups. Earlier, LeBron James‘ brand Uninterrupted posted a video of the goal on their official Instagram account.

Curry, who won the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2 times in his career, recently spoke with ESPN and showed his support for the men’s team in the Basketball World Cup. He said, “(I’m) rooting the guys on in the World Cup this year… I know they’re going to represent the US well and take home gold.”
Curry’s Warriors’ head coach Steve Kerr is currently in charge of the USA men’s basketball team. The Warriors guard has full faith in coach Kerr, as Team USA is looking for another trophy at the Basketball World Cup.
