“Ain’t Ready for Him”: Michael Jordan’s Grandson’s Sneak Peek Given by Daughter Jasmine
Make way, the next generation is ready to arrive! The first inklings might be upon us. Thanks to a post by Michael Jordan’s daughter, it seems like his first grandchild is ready to take over the world. And, with a subtle sneak peek in the background, could it foreshadow what comes next for the 4-year-old?
In a now-deleted Instagram story, his daughter Jasmine showed off the exuberant youngster. Her caption on the post read, “The coolest kid on the planet…y’all ain’t ready for him!!” But, at the same time, the background of the image may give us some hints for the future.
Behind the youngster, a clip from the NBA All-Star game was playing as Rakeem Michael Christmas, sharing a namesake with his father, looked on in excitement. Rakeem was also part of his mother’s birthday wish for ‘His Airness’ a couple of days ago. Jasmine shared a post on Instagram, captioned, “One & Only. Happy Birthday Daddyo.”

During an earlier interview, Jasmine went into detail about what the experience was like for her. Whether it was Michael Jordan’s reaction upon first finding out or her postpartum time with the newborn, she gave out many details. She even shared how she got the “meanest side eye” from her son.
She was left “holding this little alien-looking baby” and all she could think was, “Wow.” But, even though the surprise, one thought was clear for her. “I created you. I’m stuck with you.” Further, Rakeem Christmas, Jasmine’s husband, is a basketball player. So, would it be surprising if Michael Jordan’s grandson were to play the same sport in the future? Perhaps not!
