The hosts of ‘NBA on TNT’ are back at taking a dig at a few famous players through Halloween costumes. While Ernie Johnson and Kenny Smith chose movie characters from ‘The Godfather’ and ‘Top Gun Maverick’ respectively, former superstars Shaq and Barkley decided to mock a few NBA players. The Los Angeles Lakers legend teased Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler’s bizarre media day looks. On the other hand, it looks like Barkley wants some beef early this season. Pin-pointing Suns star Kevin Durant‘s ‘flaw’, the 1993 MVP decided to continue his beef with the 2-time champion.

It takes a lot of guts and creativity to mock someone through Halloween costumes. Although what Barkley pulled off might look a bit chippy, he has Shaquille O’Neal to support him, boosting his confidence once in a while.

This controversy between Charles Barkley and Kevin Durant started in 2022 when the former brought in a famous analogy to discredit the Phoenix Suns star. The 76ers legend believes Durant is yet to win a championship as the “bus driver” or as the leader and thus “old heads” in the NBA will not give him respect for his Warriors championships.

Durant couldn’t hold the anger as he decided to clap back at Barkley through Twitter. The 2-time champion shared, “All this shit is nasty, another terrible analogy from a hatin’ old head that can’t accept that we making more bread than them.” Clearly, Durant did not hold back.

Well, Barkley has now found a chance to resume the beef once again. Dressed up as a bus driver with an orange cap and a steering wheel in his hand, Barkley was all smiles with a satisfied look.

Though Barkley did not address the beef, it was pretty evident that he wanted to mock KD on live TV.

How did Kevin Durant clap back at both Shaq and Barkley the last time?

Barkley’s bus driver analogy was very controversial with fans choosing two sides. However, Shaquille O’Neal has always agreed to the 1993 MVP with it. When a sports media house highlighted Durant’s clap back at Barkley, Shaq took the time to comment, “Stop it”, showing his support for his TNT buddy.

Well, Durant decided to reply then and there. The 2-time Finals MVP shared, “he [Barkley]’s grown up, he doesn’t need any security Shaquille.” When someone disrespects Durant, he comes alive on Twitter to take his revenge.
