Michael Jordan wreaked sweet vengeance on Grant Hill

Speaking of a game against the Black Cat?after his rookie year, Grant Hill recalled, ?Reggie Miller, Juwan Howard, Dennis Rodman, all the UCLA guys were there?I go over there and play against Jordan and I played the first day, and I?m giving him the business.”

Of course, those who? witnessed Grant Hill in his prime know how good he was. Hill was one of the supposed heirs to?His Airness‘ throne. If it were not for his injuries, the legend would have dominated for many more years.

Grant Hill had a tough time dealing with his injury

Hill had the potential to become the next Jordan in the league. However, things turned south when he injured his ankle in 2000.

As he once recalled, the injury had an impact on his mental state as well. ?I was pretty much told that I wouldn?t be able to play again. And to really kind of fight the mental, the emotional, and physical fight necessary and not to quit.?

Even with those injuries, he managed to pull off an average of 13.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game. Despite those setbacks that definitely left a mark on his career, the legend finds a sense of pride in all his hard work and dedication.
