The next major opponent for Reigns might surprise him when they clash. Currently, WWE has done a great job of grooming his future challenger.

Roman Reigns’ next possible opponent

For the past 1000+ days, ‘The Tribal Chief’ has successfully defeated the WWE stars who challenged him. However, after unsuccessfully coming out of Night of Champions, he will get a new opponent for the Undisputed WWE Championship.

Furthermore, the current clash in The Bloodline has shifted the focus of the fans towards The Usos. However, amidst this, Reigns might be challenged by his own Bloodline member, Solo Sikoa.

Recently, while speaking with Wrestling Observer Radio covered by Ringside News, Dave Meltzer shared a possible future for Roman Reigns. He hinted at The Bloodline falling down after Sikoa challenges The Tribal Chief for the title. Meltzer said, “You know that’s happening down the line too”.

The Enforcer of The Bloodline impressed during his run in NXT. He made his main roster debut at Clash at the Castle, assisting Reigns to defeat Drew McIntyre. He is yet to win a title on the main roster, but he has tasted a title victory in NXT winning the North American title before relinquishing it.

In last week’s SmackDown, Sikoa showed his brothers The Usos that he is loyal to The Head of the Table. However, it seems in the coming future when the feud with Jimmy and Jey is over, the 30-year-old will betray Reigns in order to diminish The Bloodline in the process.

How will The Bloodline’s end affect ‘The Needlemover’?

As of now, there is no indication given to end The Bloodline. It seems Reigns and Sikoa will feud with The Usos until SummerSlam or a couple of months later. However, WWE is planning a huge babyface turn for The Undisputed Champion in the near future.

As per Meltzer recently said, WWE wants to make him a ‘fan favorite’ and ‘the special attraction superhero babyface’. There are massive plans for the four-time WWE Champion by the creative department of the company.

Nevertheless, he will face Sikoa in the near future, as per Meltzer. Moreover, he might re-ignite his feud with Cody Rhodes and have another match at WrestleMania 40. What are your thoughts on these plans? Share your opinion below.
