WWE is facing an uncertain time. There are several rumors and speculations running around regarding the promotion’s upcoming releases due to the merger with UFC. While some of them might just be rumors, some have the potential to come true. Recent reports have suggested that WWE’s owner, Endeavor, has been looking forward to making ‘aggressive’ budget cuts. An ex-WWE star tweeted about the issue recently.

‘Wrestling News’ reported on Twitter about the expected releases from WWE that could be seen in the near future. Former WWE star, JTG, replied to the post. While doing so, he provided the current talents in the company with a tip that could save their job.

The current story starts with Endeavor’s President, Mark Shapiro. He hinted at possible employee layoffs following the WWE-UFC merger. This is because the company already has its own people working in departments that also coincide with WWE. So, Endeavor may not want to keep more employees for similar jobs.

WWE’s CEO, Nick Khan, was also featured in an interview recently. The CEO then shed light on the hot topic initiated by Shapiro. Khan explained that Stamford-based promotion will not be shy while laying off its employees. “We’re going to be pretty aggressive with them to make sure that, for our shareholders and for our company, our organization is as lean and mean as possible, and we’re going to rely on the Endeavor flywheel to make up the rest,” said the CEO.

It could be possible that Vince McMahon and Triple H are not just aiming at releasing the in-ring talents, but also the non-performing ones. After sensing the tense situation, JTG decided to reply to the reports in his own way. While keeping the situation light-hearted, the wrestler gave an important tip to all talents. “Don’t pick up the phone on Friday,” said the WWE wrestler.
