Jey Uso Dedicates Probable World Title Victory Against Seth Rollins on WWE RAW 12/4 to Legendary Samoan Wrestler

One of the most anticipated fights at the upcoming Monday Night Raw is Seth Rollins’ title defense against Jey Uso. On last week’s episode of Raw, The Visionary announced that he would be giving Uso a chance at his title. While it will be a big night for Jey Uso, the star decided to share a special tribute to a late Samoan wrestler ahead of the event.
Jey Uso’s message to a late Samoan star
Taking to Instagram, Jey Uso shared a message which serves as a tribute to legendary WWE star, Umaga. In the post, Uso wrote, “December 4th. This one is for you”. This message could mean that Main Event Uso decided to dedicate the fight and the probable title win to the late star. Coincidentally, Umaga passed away on the same day as Uso’s title shot, December 4, more than a decade ago. The twin Usos and their younger brother happen to be the nephews of The Samoan Bulldozer.

Umaga made his debut in the WWE ring back in December 2002. During his initial run, he went by the name of Jamal. Later he left for a short stint at All Japan Pro Wrestling and returned in 2006. This time he debuted as the legendary Umaga who happened to strike fear even in the heart of John Cena.
This is not the first time that a Samoan wrestler paid homage to him. A couple of months ago, Solo Sikoa shared that Umaga was the motivation behind the rivalry with John Cena.
