World No. 4 Daniil Medvedev is one of the fastest-growing players on the men’s Tour. The Russian has entertained fans with the scintillating quality of tennis. He is known to have a unique style of playing the game and has the ability to generate tremendous power on his groundstrokes.
Another interesting quality the Russian displays is his lack of excitement in showing his emotions. Usually, after a crucial point or an important situation during a match, players burst into a flurry of emotions, no matter if they’ve won or lost that particular point. However, Daniil doesn’t follow this suit and keeps his emotions to himself.

Recently, the 2019 US Open finalist spoke on this matter and said, “A lot of people like it, some of them not, but that’s how I feel it… When you win a big title or a big match against big opponents and you don’t celebrate, you have the opportunity to look around yourself and feel all the energy that’s going around. As a narrative as a tennis player, you can feel it all if you think about it.”
Coming to Daniil’s performances in the last season, he won the Rolex Paris Masters, beating the German Alexander Zverev in the final. After that, he went to London for the season-ending ATP Finals. During the tournament, the Russian beat Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, and Dominic Thiem to lift the title.
