Destiny 2 Weekly Reset September 21: New Activities, Exotic Catalyst, Challenges, and More

Week 5 of Destiny 2: Season of the Lost has arrived with some new challenges for Guardians to take part in. From new Trials of Osiris changes to Nightfall Strikes, players should have a lot of tasks to do this week. Plus, players can finally earn the Catalyst for the new Exotic Stasis Trace Rifle in the Ager’s Scepter.

Trials of Osiris will return on Friday with bonus ranks, which should allow fans to earn more reputation. Along with that, Trials Labs will finally begin as well with Capture Zone. In this mode, the developers will disable Special Ammo replenishment on revive. It should be interesting to see how this change will play out in the popular PvP mode.

Destiny 2: Season of the Lost Challenges for Week 5 and many more

This week in Destiny 2: Season of the Lost, the Nightfall Strike will happen on The Devil’s Lair. One of the featured weapons for the mode this week will be the Comedian. Plus, with the seasonal content, the Catalyst for the Ager Scepter has arrived as well, and players can earn it from the Wayfinder’s Trove chest in Astral Alignment.

The Seasonal Quest for the week will involve an Astral Alignment activity within the Blind Well. Then, players will have to find lost Techeuns by collecting Parallax Trajectoy. Following that, using the Wayfinder’s Compass, Guardians will have to triangulate the location of a lost Techeun’s Ley Line in the Shattered Realm. Finally, they will have to return to the H.E.L.M. to speak to Savathun.

The challenges for Week 5 include completing Wayfinder’s Voyage V while also earning 100 Taken Bow kills. Along with that, players will also have to break three Illusory Barriers with the new Ager’s Scepter while also aligning three beacons in the Shattered Realm. Players will also have to gain 45 and 20 Ascendant Anchors from Patrol Destinations and the Shattered Realm, respectively. Other challenges include earning 150 Hand Cannon kills, 150 Stasis kills, capturing 50 Zones in Crucible matches, and defeating five Taken and Scorn bosses each in Strikes.

Vault of Glass challenge and the Eververse Reset

The Vault of Glass challenge for the week is in the Ensembles Refrain, which takes place during the boss fight against Atheon. If players complete it with Master difficulty, they can earn the Timelost variant of the Corrective Measure. The Eververse will include items like the Junkyard Steed Sparrow, Roar of the Wyrm weapon ornament for the Whisper of the Worm, Ossified Entrance Transmat Effect, Jacarina Shader, Big Red Button Emote and many more.

On Thursday, September 23, Bungie will also implement a 5 hour downtime for Destiny 2 Hotfix 3.3.0.3. The downtime will remove players from activities at 5 AM PST/12 PM UTC. It will be a long downtime, but it seems like the developers will have some massive fixes for the game. A lot of content will be present this week, so players should get cracking and complete all the challenges to earn some substantial rewards.
