Along the line, vampires will have to face the extremities of Vardoran’s cruel nature. While crafting is a massively important part of survival, vampires will also need to fight off enemies and hunt for blood to stay powerful and alive.

Without a doubt, V Rising has stolen many hearts within a small amount of time. However, its mechanics could prove to be difficult for a beginner to understand. To help newbie vampires set out on the quest to become a Dracula, we have gathered the five most important and helpful tips and tricks!

Set up a base as far away from danger as possible

V Rising is a game of survival, and hence, basing in a safe and profitable place is of utmost importance. Choose an area away from the population to build your castle. Try setting up your castle in a location where attackers cannot easily invade.

For example, you can set up your base against a cliff and make sure there are gates or other natural barriers like water bodies around your base. In addition, always try to set up your castle close to resource-abundant locations.

Make sure to choose the right kind of blood

Vampires need blood to survive, and so do you, as a vampire in V Rising. However, feeding on blood isn’t as easy as killing a creature in V Rising. There are six types of blood you can feed your vampire. Each blood type assigns a character and power to your vampire. It is extremely important that you choose the right kind of blood you need for your goals ahead.

For example, if you’re planning to take on a battle with another player, you may gain the most out of warrior or brute blood. With worker blood, you’ll definitely have a hard time winning a battle. On the other hand, if you’re trying to learn a difficult spell, make sure to feed on some scholar blood.

Defeat V Bloods and enhance your gear to progress

Progression in V Rising is directly linked to your character’s gear like health, attack, and other stats. The more you focus on upgrading your gear, the more progress you’ll make in the game. Alongside, try defeating V Blood Bosses in battles to progress faster.

Weapons are also necessary to harvest items or to slice through enemies. The most popular weapon would be the Slicers followed by Swords. Try avoiding the Reaper and Crossbow as they are incredibly weak and considered useless in most battles.

Share your quests with Clan Members

It’s easy to complete quests with a clan member and much faster than completing them alone. This is because quests can be completed by just interacting with the said entity. Your partner in the quest can gather the pre-requirements for you. All you have to do is interact to complete the quest.

Focus on gathering resources and crafting better tools

Survival games are more based on the ‘surviving’ quotient than ‘killing’ or ‘battles’. Hence, it is extremely important to build a sustainable world of your own. Make sure your base is located away from imminent dangers and is close enough to resources.

Note that if you plan to get a horse, you’ll need an abundant supply of water. As a beginner, you can also focus on crafting the fundamental items instead of hurrying up the production ladder. You may also want to get more than two Production Stations as your crafting time becomes longer with progress.

Protect yourself from the Sun but learn to capitalize it

As a vampire in V Rising, you must avoid the Sun. However, some activities like crafting and working on constructions are easier during the day. Learn how to stay in the shade and gather resources. You can also make use of shadows from cliffs or an entity. In addition, you can build the Mist Brazier to avoid sun damage while in your base.
